We actually saw the first 2 episodes of this last semester~ but I thought I'd write a review now that I've sat down and watched all of it~

The story starts with Shibuya Yuri, normal base ball loving kid, who is in the wrong place at the wrong time, and gets in a fight with some guys bullying a class mate. Becuase he's outnumbered they easily could beat him, and they dunk his head in a toilette. Unfortunatly (or fortunatlyXD) Yuri gets sucked down the toilette into another world, the demon world.

When he gets there he finds out that he is destined to become the king of their land, and he is introduced to the subjects who will serve him. When put into dangerous situations that Yuri becomes determined to over come he turns into his sexier alter-ego of the Maou that has extremely powerfull water demon magic.

The rest of the show comprised mostly of Yuri growing more mature, and becoming a king that not only wants to protect his subjects the demons, but unite with humans so there were will be no more blood shed in the future and that they can all live in peace. But unknown to any one there is a darkness that hiding in their world that is likely to destroy it unless Yuri grow powerfull enough to over come it.

The story itself can be pretty slow at times, but it has a lot of funny subplots and like most of the charactersXD (<3 wolfram)

Shibuya Yuri: Normal japanese school student. He loves baseball. When dropping to demon world he enitially isn't 100% sure whether he wants to take on the role as Maou (demon king), but he has a big heart and wants to protect this land. His occasional physical transformation into Maou gives him super powers.

Conrad Weller: He takes the role of Yuri's most dedicated protector, and some what of a father figure or older brother. Unlike yuri's other followers, he's half human so he can't use demon magic, but he is immediatly the most loyal. He also seems to have been to Yuri's world at some point.
 

Wolfram von Bielefeld: He is Conrad's brother, but they only share the same mother, he unlike Conrad is a full demon. His attitude is extremely bossy, and he's very powerfull. After a chain of missunderstandings be becomes Yuri's fiancee (in the demon world men marrying other men is completely normalXD). Though he's against it at first he ends up accepting and liking the idea later. He has the weird habit of wearing pink frilly dresses, and insists that he sleep in Yuri's bed (despite Yuri's trying to find other rooms and run away from him he usually ends up having to sleep in the same bedXD nothing "weird" happens, this isn't a M rated animeXD) Wolfram gets extremely jealous if Yuri even talks to another Girl... (or guy).
