Summary:
Eikichi Onizuka, 22 year old, former famous motocycle gang member, has decided to spend the rest of his life becoming the greatest teacher in all of Japan. But he has a violent attitude, is bored with what he actually has to teach, hates being around other teachers, and above all else is a total pevert who the side wish of being a 40 year old who makes a 16 year old wife of one of his students=_=.
His first day of student teaching doesn't turn out quite right either. He ends up with the "delinquent" class of the school who don't listen to a word he says and it takes every nerve in his body to restrain himself from beating the crap out of them all. But there is one pretty girl he becomes attracted to, and one day she asks to come home with him because her family is having problems. She claims her family is making her get married. While in his appartment she starts to take off her clothes (and being the pervert he is, Onizuka doesn't argue), but outside his window some of the punks from his class take a picture of the 2 for blackmail and apparantly the girl was in on the whole thing.
The punks leave, but get ambushed in the park by a gang. Onizuka shows up, and they think he's going to save them, but he drowns them 1/2 to death for trying to black mail him. The next day at school he receives recognition by all the males in the class.
Eventually Onizuka does find out that girl in his class does have family issues, even though her origenal story was a lie. Her parents barely ever talk any more, and she misses her family. So Onizuka comes over to her house in the middle of the night with a Gigantic Hammer and busts a hole through the walls in her house between her parents' rooms, which manages to begin to fix her family problems.
Onizuka now has the teaching experience he needs to be what he thinks is the perfect teacher. One who tries to make life as interesting as possible for the student, to grow up well, and never EVER call a student trash. But he ends up missing the written test required to become a teacher. Fortunatly, private schools don't require that teachers pass the test and he puts in a resume at one. While there he manages to beat the crap out of the vice principle, but the principle of the school see's potential in him and she makes him the new teacher for the WORST class in the history of the school, who through their pranks have made many many teachers quit due to stress.
Onizuka expects the class to be a bunch of hoodlums~ But it ends up they look like a normal class. Eventually he discovers they're smarter than the average pranksters, that rely on much darker tactics like making perverted edited photo's of him Posted at the front of the school and many other embarrasing things. The rest of the show is about Onizuka dealing with these "brats", becoming their "friends" and helping them solve their problems. And about the students trying to get their teacher fired.
Overall, I think this is one of those shows every anime fan MUST see. (even though it doesn't look like that~) Its undiscribably hilariousXD 99% of the episodes are worth while~ Though they could have made the series a little shorter~
Though most of the show is comedy~ The story line for each of the students is pretty good as well~ Most of the students are pretty interesting~ But 1/2 of his class have some serious issues a nice trip to a therapist or something might fixO.o Serisousy~ always trying to commit suicide... blow up buildings... and other illegal things...
But really Onizuka is the reason to watch this animeXD Every episode doing something crazy/destructive thats in real life you'd be put in jail for in a flashXD (Onizuka only gets arrested once when one of his students Dresses him up in a crazy costume and tells the police he's trying to rape her...)XD
The animation isn't that great~ I'm not a fan of the funky faces Onizuka makes=_=
This is a must see!!!~ I also heard the Manga is nice~ I believe it goes ahead of the anime story line and has alot that was left out of the show.
