Eureka Seven

Hello all

I would have to say this is the best series I have seen in a long time cause let's face it mostly everything else is either rehashing some old topic or is in the middle of fillers right now, Naruto fans definately know what I'm talking about. So when [adultswim] first aired Eureka Seven it was just plain cool enough to have a new mech anime to watch cause gundam is starting to become really repetative after watching it for about the 100th time (and I have a lot of Gundam). So any way heres the review.

Eureka Seven starts off with our hero's son Renton Thurston, now when I say hero's son that is exactly what he is the son of the hero who saved the world from, get this, "The Summer of Love" (feel free to imagine what that could be you dirty minded folks you). Now Renton lives in a town where there is nothing to do but an awesome sport called Lifting. Lifting involves riding a board on Trapar which is an invisble energy that flows through the world, so basically it's surfing but in the sky which is awesome and I want to do (but stupid reality won't let me). Of course this all changes when a young girl, of course there would have to be a girl, falls into his life. Eureka literally falls from the sky in the LFO, the mechs name in this anime, Nirvash type zero and totally decimates Rentons room. From this encounter Renton goes on a wild adventure spanning the world, reality and other tripping happenings.

Now that I've wet your pallette a little I can tell you now that this anime has something for every type of anime fan. Trust me because I have seen the series at least three time through (I love youtube.com) and with everything in this series I'm once again amazed by Bones' work.

Story: definately a 10
Characters: I would have liked to learn about some of the other characters more 8
Music: I have the OST and I downloaded each of the OP and ED, and they get played on my Ipod almost nonstop (also I really like the band Flow) 10

The series is 50 ep. long and not one was a dissappointment, even the flashback ep. was good. So watch this series cause it rocks.

Any questions just ask.

It's only 50 eps. long? They aren't making more episodes? I love the show, though!

I know people I've talked to about it feel the same since there is somethings that they can show after the series ends, which I will not go into detail with here since there is no spoiler button available. All I can say is I can't wait for ep 26 to show on adult swim, that's my fav.
