More random stuff:

If any one Like the manga of this, you'll be shocked to know they are doing a major 360 on the story line in the final 2 episodes (with the last episode airing next week). Of course thats to be expected with trying to shove such a great manga thats ongoing into one season. (*cries at all the anime ruined ruined in this wayT.T)

Edit---> This anime has officially ended, a second season is not expected. Although the ending is very well made (for crushing it in 2 episodes), it is about 80% different than the events in the manga.

After watching this whole series, I can say I loved it. ^_^

Animation: 10/10
Characters: 10000000000/10
Story: 10/10

I really wish they would change their minds and make another season (or more!) So far the anime has not been liscenced, only the manga, which is a lil strange, but I'm still hoping!!

Its in the process of being liscenced I think~

Bandai had tried to claim it at one point but they claimed it was already acquired by another company (at least this is what I understand from the couple of sites I go toXD)

ahhh, this is what I read^.^
During the Bandai panel at NYCC it was mentioned that Bandai had tried to aquire Ouran High School Host Club. However, it appears that the series has already been picked up by a company.
I've read in several places Viz had the same thing happen as well...
Rumours say Funimation got it~ though there isn't anything official yetXD

I'm just interested in what voice actors they chooseXD

If you're looking for a dubXD You can always ammuse yourself with this fandub while you're waitingXD

Nah, I'm not a huge dub fan myself...I just wanna have an excuse to buy DVDs!! Also, I've been looking at the lineup of anime due to come out in the US soon...as in the next 3 months...and I'm not impressed. In fact, I'm pretty disappointed that so many crap anime were on the list and so many good ones aren't even mentioned for release this year. :(

I really had this anime picked wrong, i assumed that all the members of the host club would have changed and move on, Although some kinda did it was odd it seemed they were still doing background up til 24 and then through the last two as a sort of ending. It was still fun to watch, there i said it.

In the manga they are changing a bit (especially the twins)~
And a lot of stuff with Kyouya and Haruhi too (and Tamaki I guese too, but he's too idiotic to changeXD).

Yeah... I made a summary of the manga series from everything after anime on another site O.o
I'm not sure if its appropriate to post here~

This summary is spoiler heavy, so don't read if you don't want to know!
Culture festival

Spoiler: The manga was much different than the anime.
The Host club starts getting "death threats" because they were competing for the best rooms to have their club events in. These threats were supposebly from the American football team, who's leader Kuze was a rival of Kyouya's since childhood. ... he has a weird addiction to oranges O.o

They have a competition for the biggest room that the whole school participates in, but in the end the host club wins.

During the night of the culture festival, you get to meet the twins parents, who act and look just like their momXD

and of course Tamaki's evil grandmother>.<!!!! who is equally as evil in the manga even though there's no "Eclaire".

anyways.. the whole point of the culture fair is Haruhi learns what an awsome person Tamaki is~ that even though his grandmother is an evil which he's naive and unconcerned about the situation~
And for once, haruhi is happy Tamaki is such an idiot=)

Tamaki related events:

Chick from france arrives, who happens to look just like tama's mommy O.o And they you find out he must have a serious mother complex, because he become her personal slave untill she returns back to france with her brother.

Sometime shortly after that Tamaki gets sick, and the club goes and visits him. In Tamaki's delerium he has "perverted thoughts" about haruhiXD Lol! and like freaks out when he's around her. At one point his dad comes to see him, and kisses him on the head (which Tamaki calls his dad a pervert for). But Tamaki's dad tells him that a father can kiss their child. Haruhi comes back to get something from Tamaki's room she left and Tamaki kisses her on the forhead with the excuse: "I'm your daddy, so I can kiss youXD" (In the end, Tamaki doesn't remember that day at allXD)

More stuff:
Chick from the dark magic club has a crush on Honey-senpaiXD

Mei-chan chapters:
You know Misuzu, the cross dresser who ran the pension, well apparantly he has a daughter O.o (I know frightening right...) named mei-chan.

Well she hates her dady, because she thinks he's creepy (who wouldn't). SO he moves in with haruhi and her dad for a bit...
Well anyways she loves the host club because of the smexynessXD
and eventually finds out that Tamaki has a crush on Haruhi (=_=)

At some point they visit the twin's mansion for the heck of it~
While they were there Kauru admits to Honey in secrety that he's in love with Haruhi!!!!!! Even though he's been trying to push Hikaru on her all this time>.<

Sports festival:

Kuze the american football guy returns and Tamaki decides to have a sports festival~~~ (and kyouya gets super mad at tamaki for getting in his business)
The teams split the host club apart:
White team: Kaoru, Kyouya, Honey
Red team: Haruhi, Hikaru, mori, and Tamaki

Anyways, tamaki wanted the sports festival so Kyouya would have a chance to compete with all his spirit, without having to worry about merit.
In the end Kyouya's team wins by a hair^.^

Twins love chapters!!! zomg the drama!

This isn't important, but tamaki lost a bet in the sports festival and has to wear a loin cloth to the clubXD

anyways~ The Junior class is planning a class trip to france, and Haruhi's worried about Tamaki being in pain not being able to see his mother and be home. Hikaru is really bothered by how much she's worried about him and runs off. Kaoru runs off after him in the rain and Hikaru finally realizes that he's inlove with Haruhi (although he still doesn't know Kaoru is).

anyways, Kyouya leaves on the trip to france, but Tamaki stays behind (though its kept a secret from the rest of the host club.)

over the next few days, Hikaru searches his fealing about Haruhi, and he remember that Kaoru and him love all the same things, so he's worried Kaoru may also love Haruhi (which he does). Eventually after watching his brother around Haruhi he see's it in his eyes, and says that they could just share her. Kaoru flips out, super mad he tells Hikaru that if he's going to be 1/2 assed about his love he'll just take haruhi for hiself...

zomg O.o first real twin fight ever!

Now Kaoru stops hanging around Hikaru and just with Haruhi and Hikaru's left all alone. Kaoru brings Haruhi to an amusment park and while they're there he kisses her!
<---- Colored myselfXD... yeah... I have too much free time O.o

He confesses to her, but then says that Hikaru is still more important to him than herTT_TT
Hikaru see's the whole thing and runs off

Most current chapter 53:

I still haven't found a translation but here's a summary!
Kaoru kisses HikaruXD (as a joke I think for kissing Haruhi earlier)

They make up apparantly O.o

Hikaru dies his Hair!!!

From here on out I guesse Hikaru is going to try and be more independent, though I'm not sure how he'll persue his love for Haruhi if he will at all~ At first I was dissapointed Kaoru just backed down on his love like he did, but it seems they've bothe matured alot from this=)

In case you were having trouble seeing wich one was Kaoru or Hikaru in the picks Kaoru's hair is combed to his right, our left.
