Title: Fate/stay night Genre: Action/Fantasy Episodes: 24 Content: Violence and adult situations, 15+
Story: The story of Fate/stay night revolves around Shirou Emiya, the sole survivor of a calamity from 10 years ago who was saved from the brink of death, and later adopted by a magician, known as Kiritsugu Emiya. Although full of admiration for his adopted father, Shirou's talent as a magician was limited, and he was unable to follow in the footsteps of his father as the "Protector of Justice". That is until one fateful night when he witnesses a skirmish between two Servants, and later unknowingly summons one of his own, thus the beginning of his trials in the Holy War.
Based on the Visual Novel of the same name. Follows the Fate route.
Sample of Technical Terms: Mage: Sorceror Master: Mage taking part in the Holy Grail War. Servant: Eirei bound by the Throne to serve in the Grail War. Throne: Omnipotent entity that is the soul of the planet. Noble Phantasm: Ultimate attack of a Servant. Last Phantasm: The strongest class of Noble Phantasm. Eirei: Heroic Spirit, the spirits of legendary and mythical figures. Servant Class: 7 classes of Servants. Archer, Saber, Lancer, Castor, Berserker, Assassin, Rider.
The animation I would have given a little higher score but the rest I have to agree with.
Saber was really the only cool character though, and I hated Shirou the "main" character shouldn't be such a weakling.
Personally I like this anime alot as well, but I had to limit my opinion to simply being based on this anime and no additional info regarding the visual novel. Animation wise its good but A few aspects I personally disliked such as the rendering of Berserker and especially the CG dragon.
As for characters I hate shirou in the anime, but hes a lot more likable in the visual novel. Saber... shes okay. Best character though is Archer, even with his only real appearence being his FINAL appearence. Gilgamesh turned out well, Castor was useless, Assassin seemed a little down played.
Also I didnt like how they altered the Fate route that the anime followed to include Sakura in the bondage outfit. If they were gonna mess with the storyline then they should have altered it to a higher degree then simply swapping characters in scenes.
Another thing that annoyed me is that they almost completely scrapped the "replenish Saber's mana" scene with that CG Dragon... I was looking forward to something along the lines of Tsukihime's anime rendition of Shiki and Arcueid's one night stand.
Aside from that even with 24 episodes they didnt flesh out the story enough, and almost completely skipped addressing important factors of what was occuring behind the scenes.

Its like 3 for meT.T Its becuase you shouldn't put that many images on one page or they won't load completely unless your right click on them all and say Veiw image (so the links aren't broken at least=))
But yeah, the animation in this anime gets a 10/10 in my book even if we can't see all the pretty pics>.
Well, I keep loading the page and I'm on a good t1 connection. There is no reason I shoulnd't be able to see these pics, and yet...they don't load unless I force them to.
