Anime Live action movies

In spring/summer of 2007 there is a live action Transformers movie comming out,  and Possibly in the making is a live action movie of Neon Genesis Evangelion, with the same special effects team as Lord of the Rings, "weta."

Do you think these live actions addaption will live up to the names of the anime or make you wish they had never been made.  (I'm in the middle)

Eva is probably gonna be on par with the live action gundam film. so ok independant of its inspiration.

Live Action Boogie pop is weeeird. But any time the opening scene of a movie features one girl licking the eyeball of another, I consider the movie a little weird. ;)

This is the raw Japanese movie http://youtube.com/watch?v=Dd-CZnbMLe8 but if you have seen DN already, I can assume you'll be able to follow the storyline. I've only watched the first 2 parts, but so far it seems very similar to the anime >.>

Woah! This was a fantastic movie. I watched it with my husband. I actually had to watch something relaxing and calm after this movie and I picked up shows by Andy Yeatman that are available on Netflix. He doesnt work with Netflix anymore and therefore, the new content isnt that interesting.
