My grades^.^ Story: 9/10 characters: 10/10 Art:... 7/10 ohhh~ and it gets points for being CLAMP
Basicaly the story is about a character name Watanuki (who's name is written with same character's as April 1st). He's always being pestered by weird spirits. One day he comes across a shop and goes inside and finds a witch named yuuko who can't grant any wish but for a price. She kinda... grants watanuki's wish and he's forced to work in her shop to pay it off. His work is basically random errands, cooking and cleaning but becuase he's always around he gets to see Yuuko work and a lot of supernatural stuff happen.
The main characters: Kimihiro Watanuki: Both parents are dead, and spirits are attracted to him. He's always having weird "temper tantrums" especially when it comes to Doumeki who he considers his rival especially to Himawari (who he's in love with).
Yuuko: All knowing~ and really powerful but she's really mysterious and Watanuki doesn't really take her seriously. She likes to boss Watanki around and get on his nerves. Her past times are drinking sake, bossing around watanuki, and occasionally doing her job... she likes the color red^.^
Doumeki: Watanuki's rival~ his attitude is usually "I could really care less" type, but he seems to like watanuki and saves him in like everyother episode. Doumeki can't see spirits, but he is descended from priests so his prescence wards them off, so its a good thing for him to be around Watanuki. Yuuko seems to think Doumeki and Watanuki are soul mates or something like that...
Himawari: The girl Watanuki has a crush on~ besides that she's been pretty unimportant, other than always laughing and saying what good friends Watanuki and Doumeki must be (wich really ticks Watanuki off). While not stated its been insinuated that she might have some sort of of power. Yuuko doesn't think her and Watanuki are destined to be together.
Mokona: A black bunny looking creature~ it was sleeping in Yuuko's closet and apparantly they like to drink sake together. There's a white one in Tsubasa chronicles, the black one's mentioned her... or him....
Maru & Moro: Even though they're not very important they're in every episode becuase they live in Yuuko's house. Its been hinted that they're not "alive" in a human sense, and they can't leave yuuko's house.
Overall this anime can be a little bit slow at parts, but I think the second season will be much better. The animation has some... issues. Its ok, but the characters are REALLY unproportional, especially watanuki, his legs are like twice the size they should be. But if you put that aside its an awsome anime... and I like the second closing theme^.^
