Synopsis:
Two ninja clans fights for...who the hell knows?  They've been fighting for several generations, a whole era of blood shed and no one really knows why they hate each other, they just do.  It's a "well, you wronged me first and worst!" sort of scenario, and it's not done well.


Animation: 6/10, constant dark scenes made distinction of characters and actions next to impossible.  Why is it always night in this anime?  It could be the encoding, but still sucked.
Characters: 5/10, didn't find any of them particularly likeable or sympathetic.  Women were weak and pathetic.  Males were completely useless.  Historical figures brought in to look stupid and pointless.
Plot: 5/10, Convulted and more complicated than necessary for something as simple as a fighting/revenge/ninja anime.  Boring at several points.  The reasons for fighting are weak at best.
Music: 6/10, both and opening and the ending kinda suck.  The opening sounds whiney and grating.

This has got to be the worst ninja/fighting anime I have ever seen.  The big lesson of the anime?  EVERYONE sucks.  The plot was overly compicated and unoriginal.  The characters were...terrible.  I've seen better fight scenes in Naruto.  The ending is very much like Hamlet.  Normally, at the end of an anime, I'm saddened that it's over.  I regret that the familiarity I have with the characters will have to end.  This anime?  I was looking forward to it.  I coulnd't wait to get to the last episode so I could move on to something else.
