An older anime, but While I was in the mood I figured I'd Give a review for one of my favorites^.^
Genres: Adventure: Comedy, Drama, Historical, Horror, Romance, Supernatural (Tearjerker... I know that's not an exact genera but it isT.T.)
Animation: 9/10 Story: 10/10 Characters: 9.5/10
About teenage girl Rossette Christopher, who happens to be an exorsist/sister (nun...), who has a partner Chrno who is a demon/sinner. Several years ago her brother went missing and she's dedicating her life to get him back. You later discover that she has Chrno under a demon contact to help her. When ever he uses his power though it slowly shaves her life away.
Even though they're in this relationship they're actually extremely good friends, and care a lot about each other. As the story develops they must protect the apostles (humans on earth granted power by God). The make friends over time with the apostle of Charity, and a German Jewel summoner. The story also delves into Chrno's past and how he lost his horns (a demons source of power).
This anime over all is very good. It can over do the cheezy humor a little, but it makes up for it in the awsomeness of the main story, and the ending. If you watch this you may need tissues becuase the last few episodes WILL make you cry. (*starting cry right now thinking about itT.T). Looking back a summery doesn't describe how awsome it is, so you'll just have to trust me when i say its good^.^ It covers all catagories from fighting/adventure to love and Humor, plus it one of the most suspensfull anime I know.
